It's Launch Season! New cars to look out for this June and July in the Philippines 01

June and July are becoming interesting in the Philippines as plenty of new models are set to enter the country. These new cars are all-new models or updated nameplates that will soon be available on the local market.

That said, we have created a quick speculated and confirmed launch list of all-new and facelifted vehicles for you to look forward to in the two coming months. Before we proceed with the list, we would like to remind you that the automakers still reserve the right to change their launch dates.

The new vehicle features the brand’s latest design language with its new and more angular looks. Inside, the all-new GS3 promises a more premium interior with many new features to capture a wider audience. A 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25- or 12.3-inch infotainment screen punctuate the interior.

It's also possible that Astara will equip the GAC GS3 with a turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine churning out 179 PS and a maximum torque of 270Nm. This will likely be mated to a wet dual-clutch automatic transmission.

As one of the all-new Mazda CX-60's natural competitors, the GLC brings a C-Class-like premium interior, new powertrain options, and more technology than ever.

The new vehicle is set to debut on June 21, a day before the launch of the Innova/Zenix.

These new power options include a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated motor and the much-awaited hybrid drivetrain that will revolutionize the nameplate into the hybrid era.

Hybrid technology enters the Honda Philippines lineup as the Japanese automaker is set to launch the all-new 2024 Honda CR-V in the country. Aside from its new looks, the five or 7-seater crossover brings a new set of features along with two new engine options.

Gone are the 1.6-liter diesel and 2.0-liter gasoline engines, and in are the new 1.5-liter turbo and the new 2.0-liter hybrid drivetrains. These new engine options bring more power and fuel efficiency to the platform.

The Japanese brand has yet to confirm the local specifications of the CR-V, but we assume that it will come with a new generation of its Honda SENSING technology along with new features. The latest version of the crossover is set to launch sometime in July.

Honda is ready to update the Honda City soon as we have confirmed from two dealer group sources that they are slowly finishing off the stocks of the 2020 model. Agents from both groups have also confirmed that they are making room for the updated model.

We can expect the updated Honda City to come with a slightly refreshed exterior and add more features to the car, such as Honda SENSING, to improve its convenience and safety.

Another new crossover is set to join the Philippine market as the Subaru Crosstrek. While it was initially slated to debut at the 2023 Manila International Autoshow, the units arrived late for the event.

Things have changed as Subaru distributor Motor Image Philippines has released a teaser for the new crossover. While details about its localized specifications still need to be determined, it will likely carry the same features and drivetrain options as with units found in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Indonesia.
