More expensive! Base model next-generation 2023 Ford Territory starts at ₱1.335M

After teasing the next-generation 2023 Ford Territory, Ford Philippines has opened the order books for the SUV via its online reservation portal and it starts with a price of ₱1,335,000 for its entry-level variant.
The reservation portal allows customers to explore options for their choice of color for the 2023 Ford Territory.
It also lets interested buyers choose their mode of payment and desired Ford dealership to interact with to discuss the next steps in their buying journey, including documentation and vehicle delivery.
Aside from the online portal, Ford Philippines has also mentioned that the 2023 Ford Territory will be offered with a 5-year warranty for a worry-free ownership experience and will be available in the Titanium variant.

According to the Blue Oval brand, the 2023 Ford Territory gets a 10-way power adjustable driver's seat, perforated leather seats with a two-tone blue and domino color combination, a 7-inch digital instrument panel, and a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
It also receives a 360-degree camera system, a wireless charging pad, a rotary-style gear selector, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an electronic parking brake (EPB).

The Territory has 18-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights with an auto on/off function.
It also has a blind spot information system with rear-cross traffic alert, hill-descent control, hill-launch assist (AKA hill-start assist), and Active Park Assist.
1.5-liter turbocharged motor
Under the hood, the next-generation Territory will have a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing around 160 PS and 248 Nm of torque. It will also come with a new seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Expect a price increase
The ₱1,335,000 price tag for the Titanium variant begs the question, how much higher will the other variant be? We hear there is a Titanium X coming along with specs yet to be announced.
The Titanium variant price of the next-gen Ford Territory is already ₱25,000 more than the outgoing model's. Factor in the ongoing dealer discounts ranging from ₱50,000 to ₱70,000 and you're already looking at a ₱75,000 to ₱95,000 spike.
However, it does make up for this by having a 5-year/150,000-km warranty, versus the outgoing Territory's 3-year/100,000-km deal.
Now, if the next-generation model isn't to your taste, there are still a few units left of the current Territory that you might find in some Ford dealrships. You'll be able to save a hefty amount if you spring for the current model.
A few more details remain unmentioned about the upcoming Ford Territory. However, we will update you once more information comes in during its media launch on April 12, 2023.
The vehicle will also be displayed at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show from April 13 to 16, 2023.
