While Kia has already released the exterior updates to the 2025 Kia Carnival, the South Korean automaker has now revealed the minivan's interior. While it may look the same as the current vehicle in the Philippines, Kia has made some noticeable changes, such as a new rotary shifter.

Aside from this, the vehicle's center console has been simplified as the South Korean automaker has reduced the number of buttons. It also gets the same touch panel control setup found in the Kia Sportage, Kia Niro, and the updated Kia Sorento. 

Updated interior with more tech

However, like before, it still gets a dual-screen setup, but the infotainment system has been updated with a new user interface. Aside from this, Kia has also added unique yellow accents on the dashboard and the front door cards.

Kia has confirmed that the 2025 model year Carnival will come with a hybrid powertrain, which will be sold alongside the gasoline and diesel variants. It's good news for the Philippine market as it could make the minivan more affordable. 

The South Korean automaker has also announced that it has changed the shock absorbers for the vehicle to grant it a smoother ride. On top of this, more sound deadening has also been added to give the cabin a quieter feel. 

As for its tech upgrades, the Carnival gets an improved digital key, better support for its over-the-air updates, and a new heads-up display. Kia has also installed a new Highway Driving Assist 2 system, giving the minivan semi-autonomous driving assistance.

There is no word yet if Kia Philippines will bring the facelift Carnival into the country. Still, from the looks of it, the minivan could be a proper rival against the recently launched Toyota Alphard in its updated form.
