It's official!

Geely Philippines is set to launch the all-new 2024 Geely GX3 Pro on Aug. 8, 2023. It will be available with two variants and two transmission options.

The Geely GX3 Pro originally debuted at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show as the brand’s way of challenging the likes of the Toyota Raize and the Kia Stonic in the affordable subcompact crossover segment.

It brings a new design with its SUV-like front end, halogen projector headlights, iconic Geely grill and prominent wheel arches. The new crossover also has LED tail lights, a muscular tailgate and a sporty spoiler. 

The crossover has a spacious cabin similar to what you could find in the Geely Emgrand, with a large infotainment system, analog gauges and the brand’s iconic steering wheel and logo. 

Under the hood, the Geely GX3 Pro packs a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 102 PS and 145 Nm of torque. It will have a 5-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission (CVT) as its gearbox options. 

According to our sources within the company, they have already brought in 200 units of the GX3 Pro and distributed these among their dealership network. This indicates that Geely is still pondering if the GX3 Pro will succeed in the country, as it only brought in a small initial batch.

However, we can safely assume that the automaker will bring in more units once the demand for the crossover is established in the Philippine market. Geely dealers are also already accepting refundable reservation deposits of ₱10,000.

The pricing for the all-new crossover is as follows:

• GX3 Pro S M/T – ₱778,000
• GX3 Pro Comfort CVT – ₱878,000

As the official launch is only a few days away, it's now a waiting game to see what Geely Philippines will have in store for its newest upcoming crossover.
