Toyota Mobility Solutions Philippines Inc. empowers Mida Food with its digital logistics platform

Toyota Mobility Solutions Philippines Inc (TMSPH) introduces its services to businesses that need a logistics platform. This new platform aims to digitize logistics, support operating efficiency, and the growth of local enterprises.

The specialized system is automated and helps with daily planning, which covers delivery routing, vehicle management, and trip booking. The platform also offers real-time delivery status tracking. It also generates an ideal truck route and loading plan that can adapt to variable delivery conditions.

The platform is still in its initial launch phase; Toyota has already partnered with Mida Food Distributors Inc. (Mida Food) to test it.

Mida Food is the Philippines' leading seafood importer, distributor, and processor. The company also provides quality frozen seafood products for businesses in the food service industry and individuals and households with its Pacific Bay retail brand. 

The aim of efficiency

Through the new TMSPH logistics platform, Mid Foods wants to address the limitations of its current delivery operations and find the best solutions to maximizing deliveries along with the capacity of its truck fleet. 

The ultimate goal here is for Mida Foods to achieve optimal truck utilization, which can lower the costs of deliveries. 

To better track its trucks, drivers have a mobile application for real-time sending of delivery status updates to Mida Food.
