Regarding its technology features, the Toyota Zenix has a 10.1-inch infotainment system with six speakers. It has standard wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The MPV is equipped with a 7-inch multi-information display. Aside from this, the Zenix comes with a hybrid display system for the 2.0 Q and an Eco Lamp for the 2.0 V model.

Gasoline and Hybrid drivetrains

Both versions of the Toyota Zenix use a 2.0-liter gasoline engine as its base motor. The 2.0 V uses the M20A-FKS engine, while the HEV variant uses the M20A-FXS variant. Both of these engines are inline 4-cylinder motors that have 16 valves and come with a timing chain.

The 2.0 V model produces 174 PS at 6,600 rpm and 205 Nm of torque at 4,500 to 4,900 rpm and comes with a CVT that sends the engine’s power to the front wheels.

Meanwhile, the 2.0 Hybrid Q model has a maximum total output of 186 PS and 188 Nm of torque at 4,400 to 5,200 rpm. The gasoline engine on its own runs on an Atkinson cycle, meaning it is tuned for efficiency rather than outright power. It produces 152 PS at 6,000, while the electric motor generator has an output of 113 PS.

Both variants of the MPV have a 52-liter fuel tank as standard.
