Great plans ahead: Aisin Philippines to set up service centers, parts mall

Aisin Philippines conducted its dealership conference on April 25, 2023, celebrating its best dealers and setting its goals for the company for the coming year.

The company even introduced new products, which were two new brake pad models. 

For those who don’t know, Aisin is a major Japanese car parts manufacturer with a global reach. They make everything from small suspension components to coolant and much more.

In context, the number of products they produce alone can build a vehicle from the ground up.

The Japanese company also recently got certification from Toyota thanks to its quality, regardless of the country of production.

One-stop, affordable automotive mall

Aisin Philippines also outlined the brand’s global goal of becoming a one-stop, affordable automotive mall for all.

As the Japanese company already produces many parts for numerous car brands, this goal is achievable for the brand. However, Aisin did not yet give a roadmap or timeline for this.

Aisin service, maintenance centers

Aisin Philippines also announced that it wants to enter the service and maintenance sector, similar to brands like Rapide.

In addition, it will set up a mobile app to make it easier for the customer. However, no roadmap was revealed at the event, indicating that it is a long-term global goal they want to achieve later on.

Huge sales targets

Aisin Philippines has been on a roll in its sales figures, as it has seen consistent growth from 2018 until 2022.

For 2023, the Japanese brand wants to hit 130 percent growth compared to 2022. It aims to do this by providing the support the dealers and its customers need. 

Aisin can also ramp up its signage campaign, provide a sales caravan, lamp post signage and even introduce a roving van to promote the brand better. Dealers will also receive several discounts and promos to incentivize more sales. 

Better stopping power

Aisin introduced two new brake pad models through its subbrand ADVICS.

The first is the Brake Star, the brand’s entry-level pad. The BlueStop Platform has a good mix of materials for excellent stopping power. 

The second is the XB brake pads, a step above the Brake Star line. It uses the same BlueStop platform, but has a different material composition paired with a matrix pad structure for strong and consistent braking that lasts longer. 

Aisin also announced that it would be introducing new wheel hub bearings, ignition coils and batteries to come out sometime in 2023.
