BYD Philippines didn't hold back at the 2023 Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS) as the electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer held a quick preview of the BYD ATTO 3.

The crossover is expected to make its official Philippine debut on November 2023, with pricing likely to be at the Php 2 million mark.

The Chinese carmaker also announced a price drop for the Dolphin hatchback, Tang crossover and Han sedan. The move was made to help accelerate the adoption of EVs in the country by making them more affordable.

Meet the ATTO 3

The BYD ATTO 3 did not release any official specs for the car as the event was made to be just a preview of things to come with its new electrified crossover.

Based on the unit displayed at the event, the ATTO 3 is well-equipped with its high-tech cabin including two large displays and a unique, wavy dashboard layout.

While there was no mention of powertrains and battery packs, we expect the model to have around 204 PS and have 420 km of range. It also has a 0 to 100 km/h time of around 7.3 seconds, based on international specifications.

BYD Philippines also announced the new pricing of its lineup below:

• Dolphin -- Php 1,398,000
• Tang -- Php 3,321,000
• Han -- Php 3,118,000
