Unleashing a complete redesign, the race-inspired bodywork of the KTM RC 200 sets new standards with class-leading wind protection and optimized aerodynamics. Crafted using advanced CFD simulations, it achieves higher top speeds. Embracing a more aggressive persona, KTM revamps the fully streamlined RC 200 with a striking black and orange color scheme, adorned with bold graphics on the fairing.

Embrace the wind protection with its aerodynamic screen, seamlessly integrated into the new plain headlights featuring LED Daylight Running Lights (DRL) and integrated indicators, ensuring optimal visibility all day long.

With an upgraded instrument cluster, now larger and displaying crucial data in a clean, easy-to-read layout. You'll have access to essential parameters such as speedometer, tachometer, gear indicator, clock, odometer, two trip meters, fuel range, average fuel consumption, and more. But lacking Bluetooth connectivity.

The new two-piece front fender is engineered to maintain the radiator and engine's cleanliness while ensuring efficient brake cooling and directing air straight into the radiator.

The all-new foldable mirrors: wider for enhanced rearward visibility, boasting crystal-clear clarity, and improved aerodynamics. But that's not all – they're also incredibly practical, folding into a narrower profile to tackle tight spaces and parking with ease.

The heart of the RC 200 is its trellis frame, housing a 199cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine, now BS6 homologated. Power remains unchanged at 25bhp and 19Nm of torque. With four valves, double overhead cams, and ultra-hard carbon-coated cam rods in the cylinder head, the KTM RC 200 achieves higher power. Improved airflow keeps it running cooler, delivering optimal performance. 

Introducing the revolutionary bionic wheel design, boasting fewer spokes and open hubs, maximizing strength while minimizing weight. With vastly improved handling characteristics, the nearly 1 kg reduction in rotating unloaded mass. 

The 2022 KTM RC200 features a WP APEX big piston fork at the front and a new WPAPEX shock at the rear, fine-tuned with sportier factory settings.

New lightweight footpegs, offering firm grip in corners with optimized geometry for sporty riding. Plus, a passenger footpeg splash guard shields your rear seat from dirt and water splashes during rapid rides.

Engineered for both track and street excellence, the clip-on handlebar is now 15mm higher than previous generations, enhancing rider comfort and visibility. For an even more racing-oriented position, it can be lowered by 10mm.

While mounting the visually high rear seat might pose a challenge, once seated, the RC proves to be remarkably comfortable. With optimal cushioning and ample space, it delivers the perfect balance. Plus, sturdy armrests provide an added bonus, ensuring a secure grip during rides.

The KTM RC200 boasts a rider-centric layout, maximizing contact with the bike without compromising movement. The knee area is ergonomically designed to be narrow, offering a wide contact area for precise control while leaning.

Yet, being a sportbike, getting on the RC200 can be a challenge due to its tall 824mm seat height. After some time, wrists and back may start to ache. Additionally, shorter riders might find it difficult to maneuver the bike through traffic due to the taller seat height. 

The all-new RC surpasses its predecessor, featuring improved build quality in paint finish, plastic panels, and nuts and bolts. While there's room for improvement, with uneven clearance around the fuel tank and slight looseness of the rear panel, the new RC exudes a more welcoming vibe from the moment you see it. Departing from aggressive and sharp designs, it now presents a mature, larger, and elegant appearance. 

The KTM RC 200 price in the Philippines starts at ₱162,000. The lowest price is the 2021 KTM RC 200 Standard.

Powering the KTM RC 200 is a 199.5cc BS6 engine, boasting 24.6 bhp and 19.2 Nm of torque. Equipped with front and rear disc brakes, it features an anti-lock braking system. With four valves, dual overhead cams, and super-hard carbon-coated cam levers, the air caps on the KTM RC 200 deliver enhanced power while upholding legendary reliability. Expect an average mileage of approximately 30 km/l. 

The KTM RC 200 features powerful braking with disc brakes at both ends. At the front, radially mounted 4-piston fixed calipers ByBre combined with 320mm discs, while at the rear, single-piston fixed calipers with 230mm discs ensure precise stopping control. These brakes not only offer top-notch deceleration but also save 960 grams of weight. The bike is equipped with a single-channel ABS system for added safety.

Rolling on 17-inch diameter tubeless tires, the RC 200 boasts 110/70-17 front tires and 150/60-section rear tires. These skid-resistant tires deliver excellent traction even on slippery surfaces.
