Chinese motorcycle manufacturer began to be present in the world racing event, Moto3. In the smallest class of MotoGP racing is now filled by two Chinese motorcycle brands. Anybody?

The two brands are CFMoto and QJ Motor (Qianjiang Motorcycle). The certainty of QJ Motor accompanying CFMoto at the Moto3 event was announced this week.

Although both are motorcycle manufacturers, but later in the race both teams will not use their own production bikes.

Although Moto3 only pits two motorcycles, namely Honda NSF250RW and KTM CR250GP, but in total there are six motorcycle brands that fight in the class.

The six brands are Honda, as well as KTM motorcycle users such as CFMoto, QJ Motor and two rebrand brands GasGas and Husqvarna, as well as KTM itself. Unfortunately, because it is less competitive, the Indian motorcycle brand Mahindra and their rebrand brand Peugeot are no longer down in Moto3.

QJ Motor

In the Moto3 event, QJ Motor will collaborate with the Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 team which is a means of disengaged for Valentino Rossi's protégé.

No wonder the motorbike, which is now bright orange, still has the VR46 logo pinned on the tail. In addition, in this team there will be two drivers from Italy who graduated from the VR46 Riders Academy, namely Matteo Bertelle and Elia Bartolini.

For the record, QJ Motor is one of the major motorcycle manufacturers in China under the Geely Group holding, which is known as the Chinese auto giant. Built since 1985, QJ Motor is known for its products such as the Benelli and Keeway motorcycles.

CFMoto

In November last year, the Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMoto made a surprise by cooperating with the PruestelGP team to go down in the Moto3 class. In the 2022 racing season, the team collaborated with two Spanish riders, Carlos Tatay and Xavi Artigas.

CFMoto is a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer that was founded in 1989. Currently there are 100 countries that have sales networks from CFMoto, including Indonesia.

In the country, CFMoto is present through PT MForce Indonesia. The products are naked bike 250 cc to moge 650 cc and ATV. It also just introduced itself at the GIIAS 2021 event.

A Glimpse of Mocin's History in World Racing

Both QJ Motor and CFMotor are not the first Chinese manufacturers to go down in world racing. Long before the presence of both in Moto3, there were already several mocin brands that participated in WSBK and GP racing.

Among them are Zongshen Motorcycle Racing Team which since 1999 dropped motorcycle endurance World Championship. Then in 2004 the manufacturer Zongshen also entered the World Superbike Championship followed by GP250 racing in 2005.

While the Loncin brand dropped in the GP125 class in 2008 ago with their own production motorcycle. At that time, the manufacturer Loncin was represented by racers Alexis Masbou and Jules Cluzel.
