Honda CB150X

The all-new Honda CB150x takes inspiration from the CB500X's adventure styling, featuring a muscular fairing, adventure-styled under cowl, sturdy bash plate, and tall windscreen for a striking appearance. It boasts a larger 12L fuel tank and excellent fuel efficiency at 38.0km/L. Equipped with a fully digital meter panel, all-LED lighting system, tapered handlebar, and duck fender. The CB150X is fueled by a 149cc liquid-cooled, DOHC PGM-FI engine generating 11.5kw power @ 9,000rpm and 13.8Nm torque @ 7,000rpm. Paired with a six-speed transmission.

The new Honda CB150X boasts a muscular design with a strikingly curved and sharp front end. The engine oil pan is well-protected by the built-in engine base plate, providing a cool appearance. The bike features street wheels but boasts a longer-travel suspension for excellent ground clearance.

The new Honda CB150X shares the same engine as the Honda CBR150R or CB15R Streetfire models, but with specific adjustments to suit its ADV profile. It features a 149.16cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine with a bore and stroke of 57.3mm x 57.8mm. The engine has a compression ratio of 11.3:1 and utilizes a PGM-FI system for the oil supply.

The Honda CB150X shares the same six-speed transmission as the Honda CBR150R, utilizing a 1-N-2-3-4-5-6 gear sequence. It features a multi-disc wet clutch and an electric starter system for starting. The engine has been tuned for improved ADV performance, resulting in power and torque figures of 11.5kW (15.6 PS) @ 9,000RPM and 13.8Nm (1.41 kgf.m) @ 7,000RPM.

The Honda CB150X features a USD hydraulic telescopic fork suspension at the front and a Pro-Link system at the rear, offering longer travel and adjustable stiffness. This setup ensures smooth handling on city and country roads, even in harsh conditions.

The seat height of the Honda CB150X can be a challenge for some Indonesians who are not very tall. When seated, they may need to angle their feet slightly to maintain balance when the bike stops.

To address this, Honda offers custom city seats for those riders. These seats are approximately 3 cm thinner than the standard seats.

With the custom city seat, the motorcycle's posture remains unchanged, allowing riders to sit comfortably with their feet flat on the ground when stopping.

The CB150X is equipped with a 149cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Power is transferred through a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive to 17-inch rear wheels with 130/70 rubber and preload-adjustable monoshocks. Honda states that the unit can achieve approximately 38 km/L.

The new Honda CB150X features a hydraulic disc braking system on both wheels. The ventilated wavy petal discs ensure excellent performance, even in dusty conditions. The caliper assemblies are made by NISSIN, ensuring high-quality components. However, it's worth noting that there's no ABS feature on this model, which might be disappointing for street riders.
