With the launch of the Air EV in Indonesia, people are probably starting to wonder what you get with such a small car. Well, as the saying goes, big things come in small packages, and the Air EV is no different.
To begin with, the Air EV is a symphony in pastel, offering colors you’d normally find on macarons in a tea salon - Mint, Pink, Yellow, and White are popular colors for the Air EV.
Inside, you’re greeted with the same colors as the exterior, only in select, well-chosen locations which accentuate the rather modern interior. The steering wheel is a multifunction affair, with controls for the radio and in car information screen, both of which are front and center in front of the driver, with an integrated nav screen showing you the way.
Down below, you have a shift knob, because as an EV, there are no gears, so it’s simply a switch to either make the car go forward or backward. What’s amazing though is that it looks like a trendy piece of jewelry.

On the dash, you’ll find the same connectivity you’d get in a much more expensive vehicle. No Android Auto or Apple Carplay, but you do get Bluetooth Connectivity as standard, which is all you really need.
On top of the infotainment, the Air EV also comes with Wuling’s dedicated app which you can download. On it, you will be able to keep track of your vehicle’s status as well as control some of the car’s basic functions, like locking the doors, operating the windows, and whatnot. Even the AC can be fully controlled by the touchscreen, and you even get built-in Navigation, which helps greatly when you’re in unfamiliar territory.
All in all, you’ve got quite a lot of toys to play with in this Air EV, making it very much worth the price tag that it comes with.
