Ford Territory Targets 15,000 Total Sales by End of 2022

Two years since its public debut in the Philippines, the Ford Territory remains one of Ford Philippines' top-selling models. With 3,691 units sold in the first half of 2022, the Ford Territory has cornered a 52% market share in the small SUV segment.

According to Ford Philippines, since its launch in August 2020, the Ford Territory's June 2022 sales performance of 1,574 units is the nameplate's best-ever retail month. This figure is also three times the number sold in the same month last year.

"We are delighted to see that the Ford Territory has maintained its appeal to Filipino SUV customers two years since it was launched," says Mike Breen, managing director of Ford Philippines. "The Ford Territory remains one of our most important vehicles in the Ford lineup and we are excited to sustain its success for the remainder of the year."

With more than 10,000 units sold, Ford Philippines estimates that before year-end, it will reach the 15,000-mark.

What makes the Ford Territory desirable?

Since its launch two years ago, Ford's latest small SUV has become a phenomenal success for the brand. On the road, it appears larger than its category would suggest projecting a sense of value among car buyers. And inside, it is just as spacious as it seems.

It looks sleek and stylish and has a commanding presence which Ford says are some traits that make the Territory appealing. The China-made SUV is also one of the more generously loaded crossovers on the market. Among the features that make it stand out are:

  •  Panoramic sunroof
  •  360-degree Around View Monitor
  •  Blind Spot Information System
  •  10-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity

Why the Ford Territory is worth its price

Despite its 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, a displacement common among China-produced vehicles, and its CVT gearbox, we reckon the Ford Territory's Autonomous Emergency Braking and Adaptive Cruise Control, features typically found on higher-priced cars, are also hit among its owners. According to Ford Philippines, the Ford Territory's once-a-year PMS schedule is also one of the benefits its owners enjoy.

Its Php 1,310,000 price tag makes it a compelling choice for those who wish to gain more value for their money.

Do you think the Ford Territory is a value-for-money proposition?
