Coming soon? CFMOTO 450 NK launched in China, when will it arrive in the Philippines?

CFMOTO, one of the fastest-growing leisure motorcycle brands in the Philippines, has been very aggressive in expanding its market presence recently.

The brand has always been present in the multiple motorcycle exhibits that were held in the first half of 2023. One of which saw the launch of the 800 NK last April.

Meanwhile, in China, CFMOTO just launched the 450 NK and we couldn’t help but exclaim, "Sana all!"

Is the Philippines next?

But it would seem that our wish is about to be fulfilled by CFMOTO as we just received an invitation to a product launch on Aug. 11, 2023.

window.googletag = window.googletag || {cmd: []}; googletag.cmd = googletag.cmd || []; googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.defineSlot('/22557728108/ph_motor_article_fourthp_under_pc', [ 728, 90 ], 'div-gpt-ad-1686570261346-0').addService(googletag.pubads()); googletag.pubads().enableSingleRequest(); googletag.pubads().collapseEmptyDivs(); googletag.enableServices(); });
googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1686570261346-0'); });

We have reason to believe that it is going to be the 450 NK, but nothing is confirmed until the actual unveiling.

The 450 NK is powered by a 449cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 50 PS and 39 Nm of torque. CFMOTO claims that this sporty naked can reach 100 km/h in under 5 seconds and accomplish that even in second gear.

Light and quick

Like the 800 NK, the 450 NK features the new-generation design language of the NK series.

With a curb weight of only 165 kg, the 450NK is as light and agile as an entry-level 250cc motorcycle, rivaling the Kawasaki Z400 in this regard. The 795-mm seat height, combined with a tapered front seat, allows a wider range of riders to easily straddle this roadster at stop lights.

The slipper clutch also makes for a lighter pull and makes gear-shifting less of a chore. The 5-inch instrument cluster features a built-in MotoPlay with a screen-mirroring function.

Assuming the 450 NK makes its local debut at the end of the week, can you see yourself hitting the tollways on it?
