Do you feel that joining a motorcycle club will ruin your “lone wolf” image?

Sure, solitude could be quite pleasing, particularly to those who are naturally introverted. However, there is also strength in numbers, and this is especially true when it comes to the motorcycle lifestyle.

Since 2010, Yamaha has been empowering its customers through the YClub membership program. YClub is a collective, brand-exclusive motorcycle club for Yamaha motorcycle owners, and it has 75,000 members from 56 individual accredited clubs across the archipelago. Yamaha has been supporting YClub members in their own various club activities.

What's in store for 2023?

This year, the YClub is undertaking a revitalization program wherein 29,000 active members to date are able to enjoy additional perks and privileges. They get to be invited to fun YClub activities, and biggest of which is the YClub Mania.

After the successful staging of YClub Mania Luzon at the Filinvest Tent in Alabang last May, YClub members from the Visayas region just had the privilege of partaking in the festivities of the YClub Mania Visayas held last August 13, 2023, at the Hoops Dome in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.

Those in attendance were treated to live music, raffle prizes, and unlimited test rides of popular Yamaha models like the XSR155, the Aerox 155, MT-15 and others.

YClub members further down south need not fret as the YClub Mania Mindanao is scheduled to be held in Davao this September. We wonder if Yamaha would be bringing in Jose Mari Chan to grace the occasion, since it’s going to be on a “'ber” month.

Aside from having exclusive invites to fun events, active YClub members under the new loyalty program are also entitled to discounts on services and spare parts, among others.

To be a YClub member, you can sign-up individually, but it is encouraged that you also join a YClub-accredited motorcycle club to maximize the perks.

You could even start your own club and get accreditation. Yamaha requires a minimum of 50 members and a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registration. Of course, each member should own a Yamaha motorcycle.

With these developments, being in a motorcycle club doesn’t sound so bad, does it?
