KYMCO Philippines recently posted a teaser on its FB page about unveiling three new models on March 24, 2023.

While it has yet to reveal which models to expect officially, these will likely be the updated versions of current models in the market.

KRV Moto 180

The KYMCO KRV 180 has been making waves since its launch in 2021. Unlike most performance scooters, the KRV 180 has a flat floorboard, making it more versatile and practical.

It also features an exposed drive belt to add to its sporty character. But on the KRV Moto 180, you get a chain drive instead of a belt, which is unique regarding scooters. The chain drive switch minimizes power transmission loss to the rear wheel.   

AK 550 Premium

The KYMCO AK 550 is a popular heavy-weight contender in the maxi scooter segment. It will soon get an upgraded version in the form of the AK 550 Premium, which features an Anti-lock Intelligent Brake System (AIBS).

This system incorporates a bank angle sensor to constantly regulate brake force applied on each wheel during cornering when traction is already at its limit.

Xciting VS 400

The KYMCO Xciting S 400i is one of the market's most affordable tollway-legal maxi scooters. It features Bosch ABS and KYMCO Noodoe connectivity.

The upcoming Xciting VS 400, based on what we’ve gathered, is going to be equipped with traction control. Limited information is available regarding this model, but we only have a few days to wait anyway.
