Ducati Philippines completed a clean sweep of the recently-concluded Army Navy Club 200 Endurance Race, with its teams taking 1st place in all five categories. The top steps of the podium were a sea of red as the Adventure 17, Adventure 19, Adventure 21, Sports Bike, and Sports Naked classes were all filled with Ducati entries.

“Very amazing results for Ducati Philippines winning all the classes. It’s not just the bikes or the riders but the effort from our whole team to help everyone succeed. As the event was an endurance race and not our usual national series event, it became a nice vacation for the team to enjoy each other’s company, build camaraderie amongst other Ducati riders, and share our knowledge and passion for the sport. The results also couldn’t be better with 1st place from our talented pool of riders,” said Toti Alberto, Ducati Philippines CEO and Team Manager.

The endurance relay race was made to test the rider’s stamina, strength, and skill. Teams are then comprised of three riders who each took turns on their bikes to complete 50 laps around the Clark International Speedway (CIS). All participants should not be national championship riders, as this is an amateur-only event.

The 29-team entry list was split into two groups, with Adventure Bikes taking off in the morning and the Sport Bikes running in the afternoon.

Mimicking a Le Mans-style start, riders had to run across the track and hop on their motorbikes once the green flag was waved. This, however, proved to be a bit of a challenge for some shorter individuals who had to mount machinery as tall as the Ducati DesertX, but all Ducati-fielded teams managed to speed through the field as soon as the race got underway.

Despite the event being an endurance race, Team Karat was in full-throttle mode on their Ducati Multistrada V4 (Specs | News) Pikes Peak.

Jan Timbol, Gico Tobias, and Jomel Policarpio were untouchable amongst the Adventure Class runners and even set a blistering 2:06.922 lap. They would cross the finish line after two hours of non-stop running to take 1st place in Adventure 17.

Behind them were Team Underdogs, comprised of Tofu Guzman, Alvin Almendras, and Paolo Aguilar. While their Ducati Multistrada V2S and V4 couldn’t match their teammate Team Karat's machines, the squad was more than pleased to finish 2nd on the road and secure 1st in Adventure 19, beating Triumph and BMW by two laps.

Team DesertX was also in contention for the overall lead, except that the 21-inch front tire and 937cc engine displacement made it challenging to close the gap to the front. They were also preoccupied with keeping a pair of KTMs behind them until the chequered flag dropped. Jade Tan, Joey Almeda, and Ryan Benton went on to win the Adventure 21 class on a Ducati DesertX.

Some Ducati riders fully embraced the endurance spirit and did double duty by racing again in the afternoon. Jan Timbol and Tofu Guzman suited up again, sharing a Ducati Panigale V4 (Specs | News) with Justin Guce.

As if they weren’t exhausted enough from the morning session, Team Gucci Gang was laying down quick, consistent laps to pull a lap ahead of the competition. The trio secured a commanding victory in the Sports Bike Class with the fellow Ducati-fielded Team Hyper Boys right behind them.

Notably, even other sport bikes could not catch up to Team Hyper Boy’s naked Ducati Hypermotard 950 (Specs | News) SP. Clyde Relativo was the team’s quickest rider, and he maximized the Hypermotard’s agility and handling to get past more powerful machinery from Aprilia and Kawasaki. He clocked a blistering 2:02.078, which was an impressive feat on an upright street bike. Jade Tan and Jomel Policarpio brought the bike home 2nd across the line and 1st in the Sports Naked class.

Ducati would also fill the number two spot in the Sports Naked category with Team GP Boys. A great effort from Alvin Almendras, Casey Clamor, and Christopher Clamor brought their Ducati Streetfighter V4S to 2nd place.

Ducati Philippines was in full force at the Army Navy Club 200 Endurance Race, providing technical support and a pit crew for all its teams to ensure all machines were in top condition. They were also strongly represented up and down the grid, fielding the first-ever all-women and media endurance race teams.

Julie Ann Tolentino, Carmella Cardinez, and Mariah Chua gave the boys a run for their money in their Team M&M’s Ducati Monster 937. The trio successfully made it to the finish line with 40 laps in the bag on their very first official race.

Meanwhile, the Media Men, comprised of Naj Abdul, Reed Motovlog, and Alfred Watermax, performed better than expected to finish 4th in the Adventure 19 class with a Ducati Multistrada V4.

Completing the team’s strong 10-team, 30-bike lineups were Ducati Philippines’ entry and the Bayliss Boys. Ducati Philippines General Manager for Retail Omie Santiago, Marketing Manager Renzo Ongkiko, and Jet Watersports Manager Wilfredo Sevilla Jr. completed 41 laps on a Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled (Specs | News).

Gico Tobias, Jade Regalario, and Doc Gabriel Flores, on the other hand, held their own in an ultra-competitive Sports Bike class and took 6th place with their Ducati Panigale V2 (Specs | News).
