PHOTOS: Get up close and personal with the 2023 Honda WR-V

The 2023 Honda WR-V was launched in Indonesia on Nov. 2, 2022 and is poised to take on segment leaders like the Toyota Raize.

It shares the same platform as the all-new Honda BR-V, which launches locally on Nov. 21, 2022, and slots under the larger HR-V crossover.

Here are some more photos of Honda Cars' newest baby, courtesy of our friends at AutoFun Indonesia who attended the launch.

The dash is what you would expect out of a Honda – a sensible layout with a few design flourishes.

For the Indonesian-market WR-V, neat touches like red accents emphasize the large insert on the passenger-side dashboard.

The air-conditioning vents that sit right at the top of the dash also complement the climate controls, which also have pointed edges.

The WR-V may have a raked rear windshield, but there seems to be ample room for a subcompact crossover.

The top-spec RS model on display at the Indonesian launch also has flourishes like red stitching.

Open up the rear hatch and you find a good-sized opening with a fairly high load lip.

With the 60/40 split-folding rear seats up, Honda said you get 380 liters of cargo space.

Our Indonesian colleagues were also able to try out the all-new WR-V on the road.

In the sunlight, you can really see the design features of the crossover more clearly, such as the hidden rear door handles and the 17-inch alloy wheels on the RS.

The WR-V is also markedly smaller than the HR-V, which should make the former easier to maneuver and park.
