Honda Cars Philippines celebrates 32nd anniversary with discounts on cars, accessories

The home of VTEC is celebrating 32 years of operations in the country.

Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) announced in a press statement that it is holding its “Honda at 32: Celebration Blowout” from Oct. 1 to 31, 2022.

Customers can get cash discounts, low all-in downpayment, low monthly amortization, flexible financing options, and other special offers, including deals on the Honda Safety Driving Center (HSDC) automobile learning programs.

HCPI was established on October 1990 under the Philippine government's Car Development Program, which aimed to revitalize the local car industry following the ouster of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos in 1986.

Discounts for City, Brio

The company said customers could get deals on the base-model S variant of the City subcompact sedan. These include:

  • Promo discount: PhP 35,000

  • All-in downpayment for as low as PhP 10,000

  • Low monthly amortization starting at PhP 17,340

Buyers can also get discounts for the Brio RS Black Top hatchback, the top-of-the-line variant with a gloss-black roof. These include:

  • Promo discount: PhP 10,000

  • All-in downpayment for as low as PhP 19,000

  • Low monthly amortization starting at PhP 14,937

HCPI added that clients could get up to 50 percent off for accessories for the City Sedan, City Hatchback, CR-V, Civic, and BR-V. Those who reserve within the promo period may purchase the items until November 30, 2022.

Deals for driving lessons, insurance

The company said those who buy a City, Brio, BR-V, Civic, CR-V, HR-V, or City Hatchback within the promo period would get a 30-percent discount voucher for Honda Safety Driving Center courses.

The vouchers are transferable and valid within 12 months of the vehicle’s release. Only one voucher for each HSDC enrollee is allowed.

Meanwhile, customers who buy an HR-V, CR-V, Civic, or Civic Type R, all equipped with Honda SENSING safety technology, can get preferential rates for comprehensive insurance as low as PhP 2,119 a month.

Honda SENSING includes various driver-assist systems that can help prevent road crashes, such as adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking, lane keep assist, and lane departure warning.
