Does the Ford Ranger Raptor's Fuel Consumption Make You Want to Reconsider Owning One?

I love going to different places. I love having deep thoughts while on a long drive. I love bringing my family to fun places. I love how efficient it is to have a car instead of taking a public commute. I love having an adventure outside the city. But I can't do all those things thinking that the fuel prices nowadays keep on spiking, especially since it takes getting out of the city to maximize fun. That is why I am doing some rethinking on getting myself a Jeep Gladiator.

That pickup truck has been a dream of mine and I know that I will be having a lot of fun driving it on the weekends. However, as I've said, I think that it is not practical to drag around a Gladiator knowing that it consumes a liter of gasoline at a disappointing 5-kilometer distance only on a city drive, and 10 kilometers per liter on a steady highway drive.

That is when I think of considering a Ford Ranger Raptor instead, as it gives a better return rate than the Gladiator. Inside the city, the Ford Ranger Raptor could run a span of 7.5 to 8.5 kilometers per liter while 15 kilometers per liter on a highway drive, which is much more acceptable than the Gladiator. Given the global fuel crisis, people have to be practical. I like Jeep Gladiator, but I don't think that I can have the utmost fun knowing that it sucks up too much gas in just a kilometer span. With the Ford Ranger Raptor, I could go to different places without worrying too much about fuel consumption. I could bring my family to wherever they want to go. I could take an off-road adventure without losing pesos over pesos. And more importantly, it is indeed reasonable.

Now, if only I can get my hands on a fresh pre-loved Raptor.
