Mitsubishi Philippines, together with NYK MarCoPay, make it easier for seafarers to get cars

The Japanese automaker has partnered with MarCoPay Inc., where both parties will match their services to strongly encourage loan approvals and vehicle purchases for Filipino seafarers to improve their living standards.

Aside from this, both brands will collaborate to create more exclusive promotions and services that can only be experienced through their loan programs, such as having a pre-approval system that will enable seafarers considering the purchase of a vehicle to obtain a loan more smoothly and with a higher probability.

When they mention a ā€œpre-approvalā€ system, it means the bank makes a simplified decision on
approving an auto loan based on initial information before a full-scale review is
conducted and communicated to the ship's crew.

Easier for seafarers

MarCoPay will act as an intermediary between seafarers and banks to help negotiate for auto loan approvals and offer auto loans and auto insurance products with some of the lowest interest rates in the Philippines.

MMPC and MarCoPay will also advertise these special loans on the MarCoPay app and through external advertising media used by MarCoPay Inc.

Aside from this, both companies will join seafarerā€™s meetings in the Philippines to help understand the needs of Filipino seafarers and their families through questionnaires and individual interviews to expand and improve their service content.

Both companies will also publicize their services and partnerships at these events to further spread awareness of what they can offer.

With this new partnership, MMPC continues with its goal of making ā€œLife Made Betterā€ under its new brand philosophy by understanding the current situation and the needs of its customers.

What do you think of Mitsubishiā€™s partnership with MarCoPay and its efforts in helping seafarers get their next dream car?
