5 reasons why the Mitsubishi Xpander remains a family favorite

The Mitsubishi Xpander carries the brand’s latest iteration of the Dynamic Shield design language. The design language gives the 7-seater futuristic looks that future-proof it for several years.

Its angles and sharp lighting also give the 7-seater crossover an aggressive and sporty look which many enjoy about the vehicle. It's perfect for the dads out there looking for something aggressive-looking yet still family-friendly.

Enough room for seven

If space is what you want in your next family car, the Mitsubishi Xpander has you covered, as it can seat five comfortably or seven people. Of course, it does come at the cost of cargo space, but there is enough room in the third row for average-sized Filipinos to enjoy a long road trip. 

There are rear air vents available for the Xpander, which can quickly cool the vehicle even on a high summer day. It's a great feature, especially when fully loaded, so all occupants can get their fair share of that cool air.

The Mitsubishi Xpander may not be the most technologically advanced vehicle out there, but it does come with just the right amount of technology to keep you entertained and connected.

Fuel-efficient 1.5-liter gasoline engine

Under the hood, the Mitsubishi Xpander is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produces 105 PS and 141 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a traditional 4-speed automatic transmission.

Regarding fuel economy, it can do a respectable 7 to 10km/l in the city and 16 to 18km/l on the highway. These are decent figures as most 1.5-liter powered cars can produces these numbers.

A versatile lineup of variants

If you are working on a budget, the Mitsubishi Xpander can be yours between ₱1,068,000 to ₱1,198,000. If you want the vehicle, multiple variants are available to suit you and your needs. 

Of course, if you want to go all out and get a more rugged version of the Xpander, the Xpander Cross is available, but at a slightly more expensive price point. It can be had for ₱1,328,000 – ₱1,353,000.

The point is an Xpander variant is available for almost anyone, for nearly any budget, and for those who want to go all out and get a more rugged SUV-like version.
