FAST DEAL: Will Toyota Philippines' February 2023 promos make your Valentine's season sweeter?

Whether Feb. 14, 2023 is Valentine’s Day or “just Tuesday” for you, a brand-new Toyota might brighten your spirits during this season of love.

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) announced in a February 2023 press statement that it is offering various promos from Feb. 4 to 28, 2023. As before, these include:

  • Pay Low – 15-percent all-in downpayment, 60 months amortization, includes free one-year insurance, three-year LTO registration and no chattel mortgage

  • Pay Light – 50-percent all-in downpayment, 60 months amortization

  • Cash Discount – Savings on straight-cash purchases

For instance, you only need to pay ₱6,347 a month for a Toyota Wigo 1.0 E M/T under the Pay Light option. Meanwhile, the same promo gets you a Toyota Lite Ace Pickup for just ₱6,371 a month, which is perfect for those who are too busy making money to think about a love life.

The Pay Low option can put you behind the wheel of the Toyota Vios 1.3 XE CVT with a downpayment of just ₱115,350. And if your Valentine’s date includes your whole family, this promo lets you take home a seven-seater Toyota Rush 1.5 GR-S A/T with a ₱176,400 downpayment.

Finally, if you’ve loads of cash and no one to spend it on, the neat-handling Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 V and Hybrid V variants include a straight-cash discount of ₱50,000.

A ₱20,000 cash discount is also available for buyers of select variants of the Toyota Innova.

Move on to a new model

There are some things in this life that aren’t worth holding on to.

For some people, it could be a bad lover. For others, it might be something much less complicated like an older Toyota model.

TMP said it has the solution for those in the latter group by offering trade-in rebates for Toyota owners who upgrade to an all-new car.

Vios owners can get a ₱20,000 rebate when they get a Toyota Raize Turbo or E model. This goes up to ₱30,000 if you get the Raize G CVT variant.

Meanwhile, Vios owners who need even more room can trade up to a brand-new Toyota Avanza or Toyota Veloz, with a ₱20,000 rebate to boot. You get ₱35,000 back if you opt to trade for a new Innova.

And lastly, Toyota Fortuner owners who want the pick-up lifestyle will get a ₱20,000 rebate when they trade in for a brand-new Toyota Hilux.

The rebate can also be used to buy accessories or as a cash discount when you purchase the participating model during the promo period.

Free PMS up to 20,000 km

Toyotas are already renowned for being hassle-free (unlike, perhaps, your ex).

TMP said it will make having your brand-new car even more pleasant by offering free preventive maintenance service (PMS) for the Corolla Altis, Raize, Veloz, Rush and Fortuner, as well as select variants of the Vios, Avanza, Innova and Hilux during the promo period.

Customers can get the free PMS up to their 20,000-km check-up as long as it is within 18 months from the release date of the vehicle.

In addition, Lite Ace units sold and released during this period will qualify for a fixed-price PMS package for up to 40,000 km. New Lite Ace owners will only need to pay ₱1,999 for each PMS.

Free comprehensive insurance

Unlike broken hearts, damaged cars can still be fully repaired, especially with free one-year comprehensive insurance from Toyota Insure.

TMP said the policy is available for all brand-new Wigo and Veloz, as well as select variants of the Vios, Corolla Altis, Innova, Hilux, Avanza, Rush and Fortuner.

The insurance plan covers the following:

  • 24/7 personal accident

  • Passenger auto personal accident

  • Three-year compulsory third-party liability

  • Own damage

  • Loss/theft

  • Excess bodily injury

  • Property damage

  • Acts of nature

  • Emergency roadside assistance
