How Much Money You can Save with the 2022 Toyota Vios fuel efficiency?

A fuel-efficient car. This is probably one of the sweetest things to hear nowadays because of the continuous damage the global fuel price crisis has brought upon us. If only you can survive without taking a ride to work or school, but that's almost impossible in today's mega-metropolis.

That is why the majority of Filipino car buyers are going for the popular Toyota Vios sedan. It promises a lot for its affordable price tag. And that's why it's been the best-selling car model in the country for so many years. I have used several types of vehicles since I learned how to drive. I have to say that the Vios presents itself as a total package. Aside from its competitive price, it has the looks, the unexpected comfort, and the above-standard safety package across the range. But the most helpful trait – fuel efficiency, is embedded in its DNA.

In real-world use, we can expect decent fuel consumption for the Vios because it doesn't need a lot of power to get you from point A to B. There are two 4-cylinder small displacement engine options for the Vios: a 1.3-liter which produces 99 ps and 123 Nm of torque; and a 1.5-liter that churns out 107 ps and 140 Nm of pulling power. The Vios comes with either a CVT or a 5-speed manual transmission in a standard front-wheel-drive configuration. The performance output of the Vios is just enough for the daily grind.  You do get what you pay for given its price point in the local market. So for daily commutes and errands, the Vios doesn't require too much gasoline to serve its purpose.

Expect to reach approximately 8.5 to 10 kilometers per liter when you drive it inside the Metro under moderate to heavy traffic situations and anywhere from 14 to the north of 20 kilometers per liter on an ideal highway drive. Depending on how you drive, it is safe to say that Toyota Vios allows you to save on fuel costs during the course of owning one because of its decent fuel economy.
