3 Reasons Why the Toyota Raize is In This 2022

Most people are on social media to catch up with friends. They use the medium to know the latest trends and updates on different people's lives and interests. And if you haven't been living under a rock, one of the most talked-about vehicles of the year is the subcompact crossover, the Toyota Raize. Numerous people are talking about it, even on social media, especially those who are looking forward to buying a car this year.

Just like all vehicles, the Toyota Raize has its flaws, no car is perfect anyway. But isn't it intriguing why so many Filipinos have been talking about it lately? What's the beauty in it and how does it set itself apart from its rivals? Here are three reasons why the Toyota Raize is "In" this 2022.

Fresh styling

We know how trends work. If the styling statement of a rival is highly praised, you will eventually see other brands copying it. And soon, you'll see competing models in the same segment sporting the same look. As if they were born with the same DNA.

However, that's not the approach that Toyota took with the Raize. Although it still showcases contemporary styling, it comes in as a breath of fresh air in the market. Kind of like being a sporty-fits-all crossover. That's the beauty of having the Raize, it looks modern, but not to the point that it looks like any of its rivals.

Features

There are a lot of features in the Raize that you wouldn't expect to be present in a car of its price. The good thing about Toyota is that they made sure the passengers will feel safe inside the Raize as it comes with advanced safety features. Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and driver, passenger, side and Curtain Shield airbags on top of the standard safety and security features make for confidence-inspiring drives with a Raize. Also, both the 9- or 8-inch touchscreen infotainment systems support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.  The 1.0-liter Turbo variant even has a 7-inch digital Multi-Information Display for an instrument cluster. Now how hip and cool is that?

Affordability

Let's get it straight - there is no other vehicle in its class that offers an impressive pack of desirable features within the price range of Php746,000 to Php1,031,000. Aside from its alluring specs throughout the range, the top of the line 2022 Raize comes with a  3-cylinder 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. Mated to a CVT, its 98 ps and 140 Nm is more than enough to zip around the city.

There are a handful of cars today that have piqued the interest of car buyers. With its desirable looks, packed feature set, and irresistible price, the Toyota Raize has managed to put the spotlight on subcompact crossovers yet again.

What do you think? Fancy yourself driving a Raize?
