Hyundai Accent - Handsome! And Other Pros and Cons That Worth to Considering

Looking back when the Hyundai Accent was just first introduced in 1994, a lot has improved and changed throughout the years. Back then, Hyundai offers the Accent in hatchback and sedan. But for this year, Hyundai has decided to launch the model in a subcompact sedan type of vehicle only.

This South Korean-made car model has gained popularity in the Philippines along with its competitors in the automotive market. This may not be the best in its class, but its twenty-eight years of existence on the road proves that it was chosen by its users for its reliability and capabilities.

If you opt to buy a subcompact sedan, you probably consider including Hyundai Accent in your shortlist. Different buyers prefer different aces on cars, depending on their needs and wants. To know further whether the Hyundai Accent is the perfect choice for you, let’s discuss some of its pros and cons based on user reviews.

Pros

It is fuel-efficient.

When you ask its users what is the first advantage they have upon owning the Hyundai Accent, is its efficient fuel consumption. Upon test driving, it consumed 28 kilometers per liter on a city drive and 38 kilometers per liter on long relaxed highways. It is also the reason why buyers end up choosing Accent. This Hyundai sedan model is known for its fuel-saving capability, which is much needed by Filipinos. Especially with the slow traffic flow problem of the country.

It is a budget-friendly choice.

Ranging from Php790,000 up to Php1,038,000, Hyundai offers a good deal for a subcompact sedan. Hyundai Accent is one of the best-looking sedans in the Philippines today, and together with its generous interior space, it is aesthetically satisfying for its price.

It has a good seating space.

According to its users, the Hyundai Accent has decent seating space for five adults. It gives its passengers enough legroom and comfortable seating. It is a good point considering the affordability of the Hyundai Accent.

Cons

It is not the most powerful among its competitors.

Hyundai Accent has a lot to offer, but according to its users and reviewers, this sedan isn’t the best in the market when it comes to performance. Its engine and transmission combo doesn’t perform like how its best competitors do. It may not be the best in its class when it comes to performance, but Hyundai Accent is also not the worst-performing car on the list.

The cargo space is not generous as compared to others.

Your typical size suitcase would probably fit in the trunk; however, the cargo space isn’t that big compared to other subcompact cars on the market. There is just the right amount of space for your load at the back.

No hatchback variant for 2022

People who have been looking forward to the 2022 version of the Hyundai Accent must be waiting for its hatchback variant. However, Hyundai launched the model only in sedan car type this year. This may not be an issue for all, but only for those who have been waiting for its hatchback option.

Overall, it is going to be a nice purchase if ever you have decided on ending up with the Accent. Hyundai offers a lot of great features in this model. It has been competitive in the market for the past twenty-eight years for a reason.
