Hyundai Motor Philippines has formally pledged to extend its Aftersales support to the Philippine National Police (PNP) for its existing fleet of “Hyundai Patrol Cars.”
This pledge of support comes after a signing ceremony at the PNP National Headquarters in Camp Crame and covers two years from the official signing date.
The fleet comprises 81 Hyundai Grand Starex units and 49 Hyundai Elantra units that the Republic of Korea turned over through the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA).
Aside from this, the KOICA, through the KNPA, will also provide the PNP with financial aid, which covers $245,000 worth of preventative maintenance and related services. Furthermore, another $145,000 of genuine Hyundai parts, components, and materials will be given to help keep the patrol car fleet in shape.
The fleet's maintenance will be fulfilled and carried out through authorized dealers and service centers of Hyundai Motor Philippines nationwide.
“At Hyundai Motor, we strive to provide freedom of mobility by going beyond our role as an automotive sales company. This guiding principle comes from our strong commitment to give back to society because we exist to do the right thing for humanity. So, we are very honored to be assisting and providing our modern-day heroes with quality aftersales that will help them carry out their daily duties easily and safely,” said the President of HMPH, Mr. Eric Lee.
Lee continues by stating that the “PNP’s fleet of Hyundai patrol vehicles will be kept at the highest level of operational reliability and roadworthiness thanks to the expert care of our certified technicians and aftersales personnel. Not only that, they can be assured that
every time, only the latest diagnostics equipment and genuine compatible parts will be used”.
This fleet of Hyundai Patrol cars is in good hands, especially with the entire network of Hyundai dealerships ready to service these vehicles.
