    Exterior

If you look at the front, you will see several parts with four corners. Like the headlights and the grille. In addition, Hyundai's distinctive face that uses a cascading Grill can also be found on the Hyundai Kona. On the side of the Hyundai Venue. Where the profile looks solid with some given curves and also lines that have a strong character. Plus the use of 15-inch rims with roof rails and also a mirror design that relies on dual tone makes the Hyundai Venue look more attractive. While the back has a character line that looks unique. The use of a boxed design can also be seen on the back, as in the 2 taillights that use a high skid plate. On the back door itself has some sharp carvings. Even the rear view of this car looks like a tiny vehicle that looks small as an SUV.

  • Interior

    Interior

When you enter the interior of the Hyundai Venue, you will have a tiny impression inside. The leather-wrapped steering wheel provides the driver with everyday comfort and added comfort, with easily accessible audio and cruise controls. The rear seats are 60:40 split-folding in order to either accommodate more cargo and a passenger or two, or fold them both all the way down to maximize cargo volume. Because the dimensions are relatively small, of course it affects the interior. Like for example in the rear passenger seat that needs to be sacrificed in terms of comfort. Even though it has been equipped with a seat warmer feature, there is only a little legroom available for the rear passengers.

    Dashboard

The Hyundai Venue dashboard with dual tone features an 8-inch infotainment system and chrome-accented center controls. The AC button adopts a new design from Hyundai, equipped with a start/stop system located right on the right side of the steering wheel. Front passengers also get some storage space on the dashboard.

    Space&practicality

The Hyundai Venue has five seats. The front seats are very comfortable and spacious for most drivers and passengers. The rear seats can accommodate two smaller adults in reasonable comfort, but these seats are better suited for kids. The Hyundai Venue has five seats. This car has a 60:40 division for the second row and can be folded so that it is even. That way it can be used for more storage space. The luggage capacity reaches 530 liters and if the rear seats are folded it can increase to 900 liters.

    Safety features

Some of the Venue's safety features include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) which uses the front camera to help detect collisions. Then, Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) which helps the driver stay on track on the highway. Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) helps detect approaching vehicles that may not be visible during highway driving (optional). The Driver Attention Warning (DAW) system monitors a spectrum of driver-related characteristics to help detect driver fatigue or reckless driving. Besides being available with other vehicle detection sensors that might pass behind it as an option, the Venue also adds a driving mode on snowy roads.

    Comfort features

Another powerful feature of Venue is Blue Link® integration with Amazon Alexa™ and Google Assistant™. This integration works simply by asking Alexa or a Google Assistant-enabled device, such as the Amazon Echo™ or Google Home. Voice commands will be sent to Hyundai vehicles only after Alexa or Google Home asks the owner to enter a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Blue Link also brings direct connectivity to the car with technologies such as Remote Start with Climate Control, Remote Door Lock / Unlock, Car Finder, Enhanced Roadside Assistance and Stolen Vehicle Recovery.

    Infotainment features

The Venue infotainment system features an 8-inch touchscreen and a parking camera. • Powertrain

    Powertrain performance

    Engine

For performance, Hyundai provides a 1.6-liter "Gamma" 4-cylinder engine combined with the use of a 6-speed manual transmission, IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission) and CVT (continuously variable transmission) typical of Hyundai. That engine produces 121 horsepower at 6,300 rpm and 113 lb.-ft. torque at 4500 rpm. The Venue relies on the Integrated Thermal Management System (ITMS) for the Hyundai Venue operating system to distribute engine coolant to the radiator. Hyundai's exclusive IVT system offers a gear control strategy through continuously selective gear ratios. The ability to match gear ratios to engine operating conditions makes speed transitions smoother and improves fuel efficiency.

    Transmission

All variants of the venue come in a 6-speed automatic.

    Riding&control

Hyundai engineers deliberately tuned the Venue's suspension on the stiffer side, and this was evident in the first 50 meters of driving the car. At low speeds, the Venue feels pretty stiff and thumps through the ruts and potholes, but not in a jarring way. However, at high speeds on a bumpy surface, the damping is not very controlled, especially in reflections, and the Venue tends to wobble a little. The ride wasn't as smooth as we'd like, but it was mostly comfortable.

    Fuel consumption

Based on the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) test, the Venue consumes 32 miles per gallon / Mpg (13.6 km / liter) of fuel for the automatic transmission and 30 Mpg or 12.7 km / liter for the manual version.

  • Conclusion
