Will It Be a "Yes" for the 2022 Suzuki S-Presso's Performance?

The deciding factor goes for a long list, especially if a large amount of money is involved in the decision-making. Aside from real estate and business, vehicle costs are above the necessary spending of every individual. A typical sedan costs around Php700,000 to more than two million pesos, depending on the model. But what would you expect from the most affordable vehicle – the 2022 Suzuki S-Presso, in the local automotive market today?

The 2022 Suzuki S-Presso has some traits that will make you say "yes" to it at the dealership center. Aside from the fact that it is the most affordable vehicle in the local market up to date, it promises that its 1.0-Liter naturally-aspirated K10B gasoline engine is capable enough to drag the entire weight of the S-Presso forward without too much effort.

Because of the small body build of the Suzuki S-Presso, it is easy to maneuver inside the city as it only requires tight spaces to get through. However, because of its narrow body and height, there is a great possibility of vehicle body roll, especially when taking sharp turns and when avoiding road obstructions. The stability is compromised in vehicles of this size and build. With regards to the NVH, it doesn't have promising NVH insulation, especially if the speed goes beyond 80 kilometers per hour. The visibility is okay, the perimeter visuals favor the driver as the seating position is lifted. However, the suspension setup gives a bumpy ride to the passengers.

Nonetheless, despite the 2022 Suzuki S-Presso lacking in some aspects, its 1.0-liter gasoline engine is unexpectedly impressive. Truly, Suzuki remains true to its promise of providing beyond what you expect in its engine figures. Although when it comes to acceleration, it takes around 26 seconds to achieve 100 kilometers per hour speed from a 50 kilometers per hour speed rate, coming from the third gear. That is just an estimate at the rate would depend depending on how the driver would take control of the car and under what circumstances.
