Be closer to nature at the Outdoor Expo North 2023 on Feb. 24-26

If you’re fed up with always going to the beach or to a swanky hotel for your vacation, why not try camping in your car?

The Outdoor Expo North 2023 lets you do just that by offering space for up to 400 campers at the Alviera Estate in Porac, Pampanga.

Each camper will get around 30 square meters of camping space, with bathroom facilities available onsite.

The organizers said in a press statement that expected temperatures from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. are 30 to 34 degrees Celsius and below 20 degrees Celsius at night.

Campers who want to build a bonfire must bring their own pit.

Biggest outdoor expo

The first-ever Outdoor Expo North will be on February 24 to 26, 2023, and aims to be the largest gathering of outdoor products and services.

The three-day event will also include talks about Overlanding (traveling and camping with vehicles), Camping outdoors cooking, motorcycle trail clinics, offroad clinics, and more.

Other cool activities include:

  • Seminar on self-recovery by ARB

  • Seminar on how to build an offroad rig by Mototesto

  • Powered paragliding show (tandem flights at ₱4,000 per head)

  • KTM Offroad Bike Clinic (open to all brands)

Barebones Living, an American outdoor brand, will also host a fire cooking demo with Chef Chavi (also known as the Baguio Mountain Man).

Early-bird registration until Jan. 31

Aside from dedicated camping space, campers will receive discounted entrance to Sandbox, four raffle entries, access to the KTM motorcycle trail on February 25, and a dedicated water supply.

Campers need to register online to reserve a camping slot, which includes entrance for four to the camping and exhibit grounds.

The regular camping rate is ₱3,500, good for two nights. An early bird rate of ₱2,500 applies if you will reserve on or before Jan. 31, 2023.

Meanwhile, visitors to the exhibit only need to ₱150 a day if they register online or ₱200 a day if they pay onsite. The organizers said the entrance to the venue is paved, so even regular cars can be driven there.

Would you take on the great outdoors with your pick-up or sport-utility vehicle?
