GAC Philippines has been on a roll recently with the introduction of the GAC Emkoo, GAC Empow, and the new GAC GS8

However, the automaker isn’t done yet with introducing new models to the Philippines as it has announced that it will be bringing the all-new 2024 GAC GS3 Emzoom into the country with a launch date set for June 30.

Its launch is special to the brand and the Philippines as we will be the first market to receive the 5-seater crossover outside of its home market of China.

GAC Philippines still needs to reveal the official specifications of the local units. However, the company has announced that three variants will be available for the crossover in the Philippine market. These variants will be the GS, GB, and GL, the top-of-the-line unit. The automaker has revealed that the crossover has a 5-year warranty for customer peace of mind.

Below is the introductory pricing all-new 2024 GAC GS3 Emzoom:

  • GS3 Emzoom GS: ₱ 998,000
  • GS3 Emzoom GB: ₱1,098,000
  • GS3 Emzoom GL: ₱1,198,000

Record sales and more dealerships to come

Aside from the announcement of the GS3, the automaker has also shared its record growth in the first quarter of 2023, as it grew by 244% in terms of its year-to-date unit sales. GAC MOTOR’s record performance from January to May was led by continuing strength in demand for the All-New GS8 and Empow, with the brand’s winning streak in sales being given another boost from the recently launched Emkoo.

“Our tremendous sales growth in the last five months is being driven by the terrific customer
response to our latest vehicles, which offer the best value for money in the market today,” said
Jun Cajayon, brand head of GAC MOTOR, Astara Philippines.

“This growth momentum proves that more and more Filipinos are embracing the GAC MOTOR brand and appreciating the high-quality, reliability, and fine craftsmanship of our vehicles.” he continued

The company also announced that it is on track to open more dealer locations nationwide, with 15 locations expected to be fully operational by July.

“Since January, we have been focused on further expanding our dealer network to ensure even greater convenience for both our existing and new customers. From six dealer locations in January, we are growing to 15 fully-operational dealerships by July, putting us right on track to achieving our target of 20 dealerships by year-end,” added Cajayon.

The 15 dealerships are in Alabang, Bacoor, Batangas City, Butuan, Cainta, Davao, E.
Rodriguez Ave., Iloilo, Lipa City, Makati, Manila Bay, Pampanga, Pasig, Quezon Avenue, and
Tarlac. Two more locations – Bacolod and Cebu – are slated to open in the third quarter of this year.

GAC Philippines has also announced the new brand ambassador, the TV actor and host Dingdong Dantes.

“We are honored to have Dingdong Dantes as our new brand ambassador for GAC MOTOR. His achievements in his field prove his dedication, high standards, and commitment to quality, which are the same values we stand for at GAC. We strongly believe he is the perfect fit for our brand persona,” explained Cajayon.

The collaboration with Dantes will open up GAC to resonate with more customers as it drives towards becoming a brand that is more accessible to Filipino buyers.

What do you think of the new GS3 Emzoom and Dingdong Dantes as the new brand embassador?
