Limited to 3: Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition enters PH market at ₱11.690M

Despite the recent naming controversy involving the iconic British brand, Land Rover celebrates its 75th year in the automobile market with a special model to celebrate the occasion.

You might think this is just an international model and won’t come to the Philippines. Luckily it isn’t, as three examples of the unique off-roader will be on sale in the country.

“We are very thrilled to have been able to secure three of this Defender 75th Limited Edition for the Philippine market. The Defender was well-received in the country. There is such a growing demand and following for this exceptional vehicle. Introducing the Defender 75th Limited Edition will satisfy every driver’s desire to own and drive this iconic vehicle,” said Chris Ward, President of Coventry Motors Corp.

The Limited Edition model is based on the HSE trim. The SUV gets Innovative technology, including a 3D surround camera, Camera Configurable Terrain Response, Meridian Sound System, Matrix LED front lighting, 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system, Head-Up Display, and Wireless Device Charger.

What makes it unique?

Like the regular Defender, the 75th Limited Edition model is available in either the 90 or 110 body designs. An exclusive color is also available for the SUV in Grasmere Green. The special color can also be had on the limited edition's 20-inch alloy wheels with matching center caps.

Aside from this, the limited edition Defender gets a unique 75 Years graphic, special Ceres Silver bumpers, and privacy glass, all as standard.

It also receives a Folding Fabric Roof or the option of a Sliding Panoramic Roof.

The devil is in the details

While the interior of the Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition is similar to what you would find in the standard vehicle, you get a Cross Car Beam bar finished in brushed Grasmere Green powder coat and laser-etched detailing on the Cross Car Beam end caps.

The SUV also receives a unique Resist Ebony color for its seats with 14-way driver and passenger heated electric memory functionality. The Defender 75th Limited Edition also gets a heated steering wheel and Three Zone Climate Control. An Electrically Deployable Tow Bar and All-Season tires can be added as options for enhanced capability.

Under the hood, the limited edition Land Rover Defender is powered by the D300, a 3.0-liter inline-six, 24-valve engine that produces 300 PS and 650 Nm of torque.
