Confirmed! 2023 GAC Emkoo will debut at MIAS 2023

GAC Motors Philippines returns to the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) on April 13, 2023, where it will launch an all-new crossover to headline its display.

The GAC Emkoo five-seater compact sport-utility vehicle (SUV) packs a future-forward design and cutting-edge technologies.

While its Philippine specifications have yet to be revealed, we can tell you that it will be a game-changer based on international models.

A 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with power figures similar to the GAC Empow could power it.

There also exists a 2.0-liter hybrid system co-developed with Toyota that could be made available. We will have to wait until MIAS for the official specifications.

Aside from this, the Emkoo will be pretty large for its segment as it is 4.68 meters long and 1.9 meters wide.

These measurements will make it a formidable competitor, especially against the likes of the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, the 2023 Ford Territory and the Geely Azkarra

It originally debuted in China in 2022 and embodies the brand’s bold and futuristic new look for its global SUVs.

GAC Motor will also delight visitors at the motor show with the GAC GS4 compact SUV, the versatile GAC GN6 MPV and the all-new GAC GS8.

Sporty Empow model

The GAC Empow will also be on display with its sporty GE variant that will make its first public debut.

The top-of-the-line GE variant features 18-inch alloy wheels, paddle shifters, power-folding mirrors and a full suite of advanced driving assistance systems and safety features.

The Empow's signature color, Matte Fighter Green, will be exclusive to the GE variant.

GAC Motor will also offer special deals during the four-day show and test drives of the GS4, GN6, GS8 and Empow.
