Check out nationwide road closures for 2022 Bar exams

Aspiring lawyers are about to face a massive hurdle this month during the 2022 Bar examinations.

The Supreme Court said the exams, which will cover six fields of law, will be conducted on Nov. 9, 13, 16 and 20, 2022.

On each day, the examinees will take two tests. The first will be administered from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and the second from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The high court also announced on Nov. 7, 2022 that heavy road congestion is expected near the 14 testing centers in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao because of road closures.

These testing centers include:

  • Manila Adventist College (Pasay City)

  • University of the Philippines Bonifacio Global City (Taguig City)

  • Ateneo de Manila University (Quezon City)

Rerouting plan in Manila

Meanwhile, the Manila City government announced in a Nov. 4, 2022 Facebook post that it will implement a rerouting plan near De La Salle University and San Beda University.

The alternate routes include:

Near San Beda University

  • From Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard, go straight through Legarda Street towards your destination.

Near De La Salle University

  • Going southbound – Turn right at Quirino Avenue, then turn left at Adriatico Street towards your destination.

  • Going northbound – Turn right at Ocampo Street, then turn left at Arellano Street, then turn left at Estrada Street, then turn right at Taft Avenue towards your destination.

Good luck to the Bar takers! And for drivers, don’t forget to plan your routes on the test days.
