Shell GO+ app users can get cheaper fuel on weekends

Fuel prices may have been going down these past weeks, but seeing the final bill after loading up your car sure still hurts.

Shell Philippines thinks it has a way to help drivers save more on fuel costs, especially for loyal users of its V-Power line.

The company announced on September 2022 that users of its Shell GO+ app can go to participating Shell stations on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays until Nov. 13, 2022,    to get V-Power fuels for the price of lower-octane fuel.

Put another way, you can get:

• 97-octane V-Power Racing for the price of the 95-octane V-Power Gasoline

• V-Power Gasoline for the price of 91-octane FuelSave Gasoline

• V-Power Diesel for the price of FuelSave Diesel

Four-wheeled vehicle owners must spend at least PhP 2,000 in a single receipt, while owners of two-wheelers need to load at least PhP 250 in a single receipt.

Shell Philippines said the prices will be based on the station you go to, so make sure to find one with lower prices. The discount will only be applied if the station has both FuelSave and V-Power Gasoline or V-Power Diesel products.

The oil firm added that the discount will automatically be given upon payment and is valid for cash, credit card, and mobile wallet transactions. Purchase orders, bulk and fleet discounts, along with other discounts and promos, are not included.
