The 2022 Nissan Patrol's Powertrain is Synergy in Motion

What do you look for in a vehicle? Does it have to be aesthetically pleasing inside and outside? Maybe you are after your and your loved ones' safety? Or are you after a vehicle's stunning road performance, and you always have to drive a car that is always on top of its game? Your reasons for choosing a particular car over another come from your priorities.

There are usually two schools of thought regarding finding the right car. Car enthusiasts don't settle for less; they typically look for a vehicle teeming with power and impeccable handling. On the other hand, car manufacturers also do their best to develop vehicles that have to conform to the needs of a large portion of the market. While not all car buyers are enthusiasts, some vehicles can provide both opposing needs.

The good thing is that Nissan is continuously developing and improving its flagship SUV, the Nissan Patrol, which is why it is well-loved by families and car enthusiasts. It is superior in many ways. It has an enormously spacious cabin fit for eight family members, a premium-looking aesthetic finish, and, most importantly, copious amounts of power under the hood.

Its 5.6-liter direct-injection V8 gasoline engine works phenomenally in every driving situation. Its seven-speed automatic transmission is quick and responsive. It knows which gear you need every time, which is why the power kicks in with immediacy. Its four-wheel drive system is robust and capable of getting you out of a slippery bind. And the brakes are more than ample enough to stop the 3,500-kilogram SUV at a safe distance. Plus, your driving enjoyment is well-supported by its double-wishbone front suspension and its Hydraulic Body Motion Control system that smoothens the vehicle's ride in off-road scenarios and reduces body lean when cornering on the road.

I can't think of any negative criticism of the Nissan Patrol. Some aspects need improvement to cope with its rivals' offering, but it would not be related to its impressive power and drivetrain systems.
