Test Drive Report: Does Nissan GT-R Comes with Full Capacity?

Nissan Motor Corporation’s iconic sports car, the Nissan GT-R, has been continuously dazzling the automotive industry with its high-performing road abilities. Under its hood, the Nissan GT-R Nismo variant holds a 3.8-liter Bi-turbo V6 engine – which has been hand-built by one of the best master crafts men in the world. It has an impressive 600 horsepower and 650 Newton meters of torque.

The Nismo variant of the GT-R has a re-calibrated 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox for quicker shifts over the standard GT-R. The body panels have given extra bonding to make the Nismo 10 times stiffer and more rigid than the standard. It is to make it more responsive and easier to handle. The Nismo also gets returned steering to make it more responsive than the standard GT-Rs.

The road grinding power of the GT-R is impressive. The turbochargers come from the GT racing car, which generates up quickly, especially in the Nismo variant. The steering is pointy and sharp, making it easier to handle and maneuver. It gives a comfortable feeling connected with the car. Its actual users have been saying that they have felt the price of the GT-R upon driving it. Its performance compensates the 8.9 million pesos out of your pocket.

Could you tell the difference between variants?

Upon driving the GT-R, you can experience how well-performing it is. If you have tried test driving both the Nismo and the standard GT-R, you could feel difference between them. The Nismo pushes stronger and accepts well. On the road, you could also feel the benefits of the Nismo because of its speed limit and acceleration.

However, there’s no point in running quickly if you can’t stop well. Behind the wheels, you could see one of the largest brakes ever fitted to a Japanese-produced car. A 410-millimeter carbon-ceramic disc was gripped by six-piston calipers. At the back, a 390-millimeter carbon stomach disc is equipped with four-piston calipers. If you take a full brake, it would take approximately 43 meters before it completely stops.

Overall, upon testing, the Nissan GT-R performs impressively. All its components are supporting the totality of the drive. It is recommended to those who are looking for a sophisticated-looking and powerful sports car.
