There are several reasons why the refreshed 2022 Toyota Camry is far much better than last year's model. Aside from the fact that its looks have gotten better with the new front bumper design and 18-inch wheels, it now comes with amazing features that will make every passenger feel even more comfortable. A new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system highlighted with JBL speakers is a huge improvement over the old setup. And at the back, touch-sensitive buttons on the center armrest for the rear passengers allow them to open and close the rear blinds, adjust the air conditioning temperature, and recline their seats to their liking. The rear passengers also have an access button to adjust the seating position of the front passenger. This feature comes in handy, especially for chauffeured executives who prefer more legroom and space in the back.

However, those impressive features are just additions to the main upgrade of the 2022 Toyota Camry. The cherry on top of a delightful dessert is its new hybrid system. When the year started, there were only a few hybrid and fully electric vehicles available in the local market. And the reality is that majority of Filipino car buyers are not keen on being early adopters of emerging automobile systems like hybrid technology. But now,  midway into the year, and with the new law encouraging electric vehicle use in the country, interest in fully electric and hybrid vehicles is becoming more prevalent. Automotive advancements in the realm of fuel efficiency and reduced emissions are inevitable. Sooner rather than later, more and more people will become environmentally conscious and choose to go green.

Since the all-new Camry now comes only as a hybrid with an electric motor operating at low speeds and over a limited range, its 2.5-liter internal combustion engine now promises improved fuel economy figures. A welcome evolution for cars in this class which have traditionally been labeled as gas-guzzlers. And if you think that the performance of the Camry has degraded, you're mistaken.
