If you live in the "Queen City of the South" and you've been dying to test the next-generation Ford Ranger and Everest, then you're in luck.

Ford Philippines announced in a press statement that it will hold its Ford Island Conquest (FIC) test-drive event at SM City Seaside Cebu on Oct. 28-30, 2022.

Similar to the legs in Pampanga and Davao, the event features a dynamic display and an on-road test drive, along with the chance to experience the off-road capabilities of the Ranger and Everest.

"We are excited to bring our Ford Island Conquest event to Cebu City and give more customers and enthusiasts the chance to check out and test drive our next-generation Ford vehicles," said Ford Philippines managing director Mike Breen.

"We're definitely encouraged with the great results and positive feedback from our previous FIC legs, and we intend to sustain the momentum with our fifth FIC leg in Cebu and a few more planned roll-outs before the end of the year," he added.

Prizes and discounts for buyers

In addition, customers who make a reservation for a Ranger, Everest, Territory, Mustang or Explorer can get a prize.

Ford Philippines said PhP 2 million worth of cash discounts and prizes are up for grabs for customers, including cash discounts as much as PhP 100,000.

Other prizes include a three-year Scheduled Service Plan, premium Ford merchandise and accessory packs for the Ranger and Everest.

Customers who get financing through partner banks BPI or EastWest will also get an additional Php 15,000 cash discount.

The Ford Island Conquest in SM Seaside City Cebu will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the test drive activity open until 6 p.m. Customers who are going to drive the vehicles are advised to wear the appropriate footwear.
