Spending for a 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 can be an exercise in fiscal management. 

They say the best thing to do if you want to save money is not to spend. But when it comes to needs, I think that if a purchase is born out of necessity, then there's nothing you can do about it except to work harder.

With a price tag starting from Php 769,000 up to Php 929,000, Mitsubishi offers the 2022 Mirage G4 with a noticeable exterior make-over that might possibly make you say yes to your sales agent. Aside from the upgraded exterior design of this 10-year-old sedan, Mitsubishi promises the same reasuringly familiar riding comfort with its MacPherson struts and coil springs with stabilizer bar setup up front and a torsion beam suspension setup.

Working under its hood is a 1.2-liter naturally-aspirated 3-cylinder gasoline engine that runs 78 ps and 100 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. That Php 929,000 price of the top-of-the-line variant is already a sport version of the model, that has the chrome fittings in its Dynamic Shield bumper up front and the body kit. It is still cheaper than some of its rivals that offer similar sport or turbo variants.

Despite its attractive price and stellar reputation, it doesn't mean that you have to acquire the top-of-the-line version automatically because it has the largest figures on the paper. Always remember that, aside from assessing if a particular vehicle is worth its price, you also have to gauge if it fits your needs and lifestyle.

If the added features on a higher trim do not satisfy your intended case use, then it may still not be worth the purchase in the end. Even though it is as affordable as the Mitsubishi Mirage G4.
