In recent months, Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) has been quite busy beefing up its product line-up to cater to the growing scooter market. In fact, they just did consecutive launches of four 160cc scooters this year. Two of which are the PCX160 and the ADV160.

Probably the yin and yang in the scooter category, the PCX160 and the ADV160 are polar opposites while being essentially the same. They share a common platform, after all.

Both run on a 157cc, 4-Valve, liquid-cooled engine that produces 11.8 kW@ 8,500 rpm. That’s more than enough to take you anywhere from daily commuting on weekdays and leisure trips on weekends. In terms of style, you can never go wrong with these two exceptionally-designed scooters. It all comes down to the type of personality you want to project while you’re on the road.

If elegance and subtleness fit your style, PCX160 features a sophisticated collection of lines and curves, including the way how the LED headlight, position light, and tail lights run across the body. Its wheel design and digital meter panel are likewise developed with superiority in mind.
